The details
Selenite from the Naica mines has a fiber-optic quality: light entering the base travels up the striations and exits the tip with a soft glow. Under a warm lamp it looks lit from within.
This is the housekeeping stone — the one collectors keep beside the rest of their pieces. Selenite is traditionally used to clear and reset the energy of other crystals, so many of our customers rest smaller stones against it overnight.
Selenite is a soft mineral (it can be scratched with a fingernail) and it is water-soluble. Keep it dry and it will keep its satin finish for decades.
